I'm all about easy & quick ways to make meat delicious! Through a lot of trial and error, I've found my staple ingredients for all things beef! I'm talking about ground beef (including hamburgers), steak, tenderloin, IT ALL WORKS! (I don't recommend for pot roast, I'll share that recipe later)
One thing you need to know, is that measurements are flexible and I use the direct dump method! I don't use measuring cups for marinades. So here's what you'll need:
Ziploc bag (or a pan in your meat is too big for the bag)
Soy Sauce
Worcestershire Sauce
Lemon Juice
Your favorite meat dry seasoning (I am loving Spice Select "Kansas City Steak Seasoning")
Directions:
Place your frozen beef in a ziploc bag (or pan). Start with soy sauce and dump directly into bag, I use this as my base liquid so eyeballing it, it looks like a cup that fills the bottom of the bag. But it varies depending on how much meat you're marinading. Then take worcestershire sauce and aim for around 1/4 cup. Don't stress about exact measurements! I'm just giving you an idea to get you started, Add about a tablespoon of lemon juice and then sprinkle however much dry seasoning you want on top. Then seal the bag and massage everything together.
If you're using a pan, take a meat brush or spatula to spread everything around and mix together on top of the meat. Then cover with a lid.
The longer your meat can marinade, the better! I like to get my meat ready around 10 am and let it rest in the marinade until dinner around 6:30 pm. Throughout the day I flip the bag to make sure everything is getting saturated.
These guestimates (Guess+estimates) are usually best for 2 lbs of ground beef. So do more or less according to how much meat you're marinading. AND EXPERIMENT! Beef is so fun to play with and make specifically for you and your family's taste. If you have older beef, do a little more liquid. If you have new fresh meat, maybe try a little less. Be brave and make it yours!
